The Color Dare challenge #183 from Color My Heart Color Dare is to create something with the Close to My Heart colors, White Daisy, Thistle, Crystal Blue, Honey and Pear. I am so happy I was able to get into my craft room this week. I totally missed last week’s challenge.  Just too much going on. I have been having so much fun with the Spring Critters that I decided to use the frog for this challenge. I colored him in with the ShinHan Touch Twin Markers found in the CTMH catalog and used my water brush with some of the Crystal Blue ink from the lid of the ink pad for the banner.  The scallop circles and circles were cut on the Cricut. Have I mention how fun and easy it is to use the new Thin Cuts? They are awesome! This card just makes me smile and I hope it makes you smile as well.

Thank you Color My Heart Color Dare for the fun these challenges provide!

  1. I love your froggy card, Patty! (He is featured in my Color Dare #184 card that you’ll see on Friday) I love the scalloped circles and how you grouped your pearls with one large and three tiny ones together. This card does make me smile and I’m so glad you found time to create with us again. Thanks for your regular contributions to the Color Dare challenge blog–we appreciate your talent.
    🙂 Marie

  2. Thanks for sharing your adorable card with us at Color My Heart Color Dare! The frog sure is too cute!

  3. Really like all the different die-cuts and using the design papers for each. The pearl embellishments are nicely place and love frogs. Your card is beautifully layed out and love everything about it. Thanks for joining us again, and another great color combination for spring next week…hope you join in.
