The Color Dare challenge #208 from Color My Heart Color Dare is to create something with the Close to My Heart colors Pixie, Thistle, Juniper, Lagoon and White Daisy.  I immediately thought of hearts for some reason.  After I stamped a heart in each of the colors and laid it on the White Daisy cardstock, I felt like it needed a little something more and did my first stitching on a card.  It was a lot of fun. I was happy with how it turned out.

Thank you Color My Heart Color Dare for the fun these challenges provide!

  1. Patty – there are so many things that I love about this card, I don’t even know where to start! I love the stitching of the hearts, I love the B&T’s that you chose and I love the addition of the Thick Twine to the Shimmer Trim! Thank you for participating at the Color My Heart Color Dare!

  2. Fabulous card! Love how you stitched through the hearts and those knots on the shimmer trim are a great touch. Thank you for inspiring us at Color My Heart Challenge Blog.

  3. Great selection of all the Paper Fundamentals…some of my favorites…especially the hearts and I don’t have any left. Love all the added embellishments and your card is very pretty. Thanks for joining us at Color Dare and don’t forget to tune in on one of our Diamond Winner’s selection of the color combination for this week.
