The Color Dare challenge #184 from Color My Heart Color Dare is to create something with the Close to My Heart colors, White Daisy, Sweet Leaf, Smoothie, Canary and Flaxen.  I pulled the Whimsy fundamental pack out and  put this card together.  I felt that I wanted some color on the White Daisy cardstock. I used Happy Hello, Connections and This Way, CTMH stamps for the background’s random stamping. For the sentiment I used the ” Thanks so Much” from CTMH’s You Mean the World to Me.  I wanted the sentiment stamped in several colors so I did some masking.  I need a Thank You card and this will be in the snail mail real soon. =)

Thank you Color My Heart Color Dare for the fun these challenges provide!

  1. Love your personalized paper, and you did a super job with the masking…love it when the masking is used. And who doesn’t like all those Paper Fundamental papers and they really look good on the shiny side which soften the patterns. Great layout and thanks for joining us at Color My Heart Color Dare…love seeing your card every week, and looking for some of those embellishments.

  2. What a pretty card! Love how you layered all the different papers. Thank you for inspiring us at Color My Heart Challenge Blog.

  3. What a great card! I love all your details. My favorite part is the masking to make the sentiment multi-colored. Thanks for joining us at Color My Heart.

  4. Patty, my favorite part is the multicolor background stamping. I’m having a workshop next month on this technique and will have to direct my students to your website for an example.
I have tried to use this card pattern, but you have a version that beats mine hands down. Thanks for sharing your talent.
