The Color Dare challenge #226 from Color My Heart Color Dare is to create something with the Close to My Heart colors Peacock, Glacier, White Daisy and Black.  I created the background paper for this birthday card by using stamping with the back of some circle images.  I like how the coverage of the images isn’t real even, it gives it a bit of a grunge look and to me adds a little interest.  I used Close to My Heart’s Gift Thin Cuts for the present. I Love that Thin Cut. I thought about adding some embellishments, such as a few scattered sequins, but I thought the simplicity of this card was great. Again, I love these challenges as it really forces me to step out of the box I am so comfortable in. LOL

Thank you Color My Heart Color Dare for the fun these challenges provide!
