The Color Dare challenge #231 from Color My Heart Color Dare is to create something with the Close to My Heart colors from the Hello Lovely paper packet. Those colors are Sorbet, Whisper, New England Ivy, Fern, Desert Sand, Sea Glass, Colonial White and White Daisy. I just love this paper packet. So elegant. I guess since I was at a quilting class today, it gave me the idea to do something like a pieced quilt top and this is what I came up with. I liked the front of the card so much I had a hard time putting a sentiment or anything over my pieced front, but yet, it did need a little something. I decided to stay focused on the floral aspect of the paper packet and cut out one of the flowers to add to the center along with some of the new blush shimmer ribbon. Hope you like it!
Thank you Color My Heart Color Dare for the fun these challenges provide!

What a great idea with your layout and using the different design papers for your square panels and layering of the bouquet…and the background design paper was an excellent choice behind your florals.. Again, Patty, a beautiful card. Thanks for sharing with us this week at Color Dare and please join us again next week.
