As I mentioned in my December 27th post, one of my New Year’s Resolutions is to use up some of my older retired Close to My Heart products. I have been collecting Close to My Heart product for 8 years.  I love it all but like most everyone else, you tend to go straight for the new stuff. So I decided I need to make at least one card from a retired paper every card making session I have. So this weekend I made two cards with good old retired Pemberly.

Pemberly was one of my favorites for quite a while.  I think I purchased three packs of it.  I originally was going to use the back side of this floral paper for the background of a card. When I flipped it over to put the adhesive on on the paper it landed on the outdoor denim mat I had and I loved the way it looked so decided to make a nice simple card that show cased the beautiful floral design.  I just added a bit of embellishment (of course I still have quite the ribbon collection too) and called it done.

Paper: CTMH Pemberly (retired)

Cardstock: CTMH Outdoor Denim

Other: CTMH Creme Brulee ribbon, Epoxy bubbles-Blue assortment, Assorted sparkles

Don’t forget to pin it if you like it!
